Movement Planning

The Movement Planning feature enables you to plan runs of Movements into vehicles with their crew for a particular day.

To plan a Movement

1. Click the dropdown arrow next to Movements on the left of the screen and select Movement Planning.
2. Select a date for the Movement Plan. You can do this by scrolling to the desired date using the arrows at the top or the calendar .
3. Add Movements to the Vehicles. To do this, select one or more Movements from the list at the top and drag them to a Vehicle in the list in the middle. The Movement is added to the Vehicle and a row is added to the list at the bottom of the screen and the Vehicle turns green to indicate it containts at least one movement. If a single Movement is being split between multiple Vehicles, right-click the Movement in the list at the bottom of the screen and select Duplicate to Another Vehicle. A duplicate of the Movement appears in the Movement list at the top of the screen ready to be assigned to another Vehicle. To move a planned Movement to a different Vehicle and/or day, right-click the Movement in the list at the bottom of the screen and select Move to Another Vehicle/Day. Select On the same day or On another day and select a Vehicle and date (if applicable) from the pop-up window and then click OK.
4. Add Crew to the Vehicles assigned to your Movement Plan. Vehicles included within the plan are highlighted in green. To do this, select a Vehicle and click Add in the Crew pane to the right of the Vehicle list and select from the Crew members from the pop-up window. You can select multiple Crew members by holding CTRL. When you have selected your Crew, click OK.

To move an entire Movement run to another vehicle and/or another day

1. Select a Vehicle from the Vehicle list in the middle and right-click it.
2. Select Move Run to Another Vehicle/Day.
3. Select On the same day or On another day.
4. Select a Vehicle and date (if applicable) from the pop-up window and click OK.

To manually add additional Movements (e.g. when you have non-Eos paperwork)

Click Add at the top of the screen and then enter the information about the Movement. When you have entered all the details, click OK and add the new Movement to a Vehicle like you did with the main Movements.
